Despite his lack of recent musical production, 6ix9ine is nonetheless well compensated. In December, 6ix9ine was sued by a concert organizer for allegedly failing to appear for a Texas gig. Jamie Dominguez's JJD Entertainment filed a complaint stating that the rapper flew into Humble on June 27, 2021, to receive $75,000 but did not perform.
According to the lawsuit, the contract said that 6ix9ine would receive $45,000 when signing the paperwork and $75,000 when he arrived at the event, with Dominguez also paying $28,000 to transport 6ix9ine from Florida to Texas on a private plane.
JJD Entertainment was forced to refund ticket purchases, saying that he spent $178,649.70 on 6ix9ine's event budget and more than $100,000 on the venue, production, security, and insurance.
On May 8, 6ix9ine celebrated his 26th birthday. Instead of partying, he spent the day cleaning vehicles and distributing $50,000 to the remainder of the company's employees.
