According to ABC 7 New York, Brooklyn rapper Fetty Luciano was arrested on Thursday (July 21) after turning himself in at the Glen Cove police station.

The arrest is in relation to a triple shooting that occurred earlier in July at a Long Island mansion pool party, with 26-year-old Fetty Luciano — real name Remy Marshall — facing attempted murder and weapons charges. He is set to appear in court on Friday (July 22).

The Mansion, which also operates as a hotel with 187 guest rooms and suites, had between 150 and 200 guests.

"It's a bit of a surprise, yeah," Glen Cove Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck said at the time. "This is a beautiful venue." It's used for high school reunions, weddings, fundraisers, and other activities that don't happen here."

The facility allegedly did not have appropriate City Hall permission to organize an outdoor event, according to Glen Cove police, who stated that an application was completed but the permit was not signed.

Fetty Luciano is a part of Bobby Shmurda's GS9 group, and his debut album Story to Tell was published on Def Jam in 2018, featuring Gunna, Landstrip Chip, and Shmurda. In 2021, he also appeared on the deluxe edition of Pop Smoke's posthumous album Faith, singing "Double It."
