LIL UZI VERT RETURNS TO SOUNDCLOUD TO RELEASE “SPACE CADET”
As Lil Uzi Vert's Red & White EP is on the way, they're starting to heat up the summer with another SoundCloud exclusive, "I KNOW," which dropped on Monday (July 18).
Uzi reunites with Sonny Digital, who just joined the Generation Now crew as an artist, and the two have previously shown to be a potent combo. The Philadelphia native rides the stellar production while flowing like a classic Uzi, which makes sense given that the Luv Is Rage 2 throwaway was recorded in 2017.
"That bitch that you wifing/I knew she fucking for money (Money), oh-oh-oh (For the money, for money)/I know I was nothing, I turned into something," they rap about his meteoric ascent to fame.
Over the weekend, Lil Uzi Vert released the "Space Cadet" single to SoundCloud, which we assume will also appear on his upcoming Red & White EP. The project is expected to serve as a prelude to their long-awaited The Pink Tape album, which is set to be released later this year.
"Red & White Ep.... Before The P!NK," Uzi captioned the Salvador Dali-inspired covered image on Instagram last week.
Uzi's first proper project since 2020's Pluto X Baby Pluto duet album with Future and their first solo effort since LUV Vs. The World 2, which doubled as the deluxe version of his chart-topping record Eternal Atake, Red & White.
