With A Surprise Drop of a new single ' I don't talk ', NBA YoungBoy Gets Fans Ready For "The Last Slimeto"
NBA YoungBoy is in high spirits. On Friday (July 15), the 22-year-old rapper received a significant legal triumph when he was cleared by a grand jury on federal gun charges he faced in Los Angeles, and he's celebrating by sharing new music with his fans.
"I Don't Talk" sees YoungBoy traveling to the sky and the streets, something he could only dream of doing seven months ago, all while flexing some major cash.
The Issac Garcia-directed video arrives as YoungBoy prepares to release his upcoming album The Last Slimeto on August 5. The Baton Rouge rapper said in April that the album will be 30-tracks long and released the first 11 songs as a preview.
NBA YoungBoy's previous solo record, Colors, was released in January, followed by his DaBaby collaboration tape, Better Than You, in March.
Despite being under strict house arrest since October of last year, YoungBoy continued to release throwaway singles on his YouTube channel throughout his legal troubles.
While the rapper was seen grinning from ear to ear after his latest victory, NBA YoungBoy isn't out of the woods yet. He still faces a separate firearms accusation in his hometown of Baton Rouge after being detained during a video shoot in September 2020. The case will have a status conference on August 1.
