" This is an update to the press release of a shooting earlier tonight. We can now identify the victims as Javorius Scott, A.K.A. JayDaYoungan, and close family member Kenyatta Scott Sr. We can also confirm that Javorius Scott has died as a result of his injuries. Kenyatta Scott Sr. has been transported to another facility and we have been told he is in stable condition. Detectives are currently conducting interviews and working leads. Further information will follow as it becomes available. "

Reports JayDaYoungan had died from his injuries before his death was officially publicized, which evidently piqued the interest of the rapper's sister, who swiftly tweeted, "AINT NOBODY FUCKING DEAD STOP DICK EATING AND GO READ BOOK."

But as the hours passed, her tweets became increasingly ominous, ending with "MY FUCKING BABY DAWG." She ended with multiple broken hearts and weeping emoticons, implying the worst.

According to Fox 8, the Bogalusa Police Department got a call at 5:50 p.m. local time reporting a gunshot in the 600 block of Superior Avenue. When police arrived, they located a gravely injured individual who was treated on the scene by EMS before being transferred to a nearby hospital. Another sufferer was transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicle. They did not, however, reveal their identities.
