NBA Youngboy's "The Last Slimeto" Is Officially Turned In To Atlantic Records

The Last Slimeto, NBA Youngboy's next studio album, has a lot of people excited. He came into 2022 strong with projects like Colors and Better Than You alongside DaBaby, but he's stayed somewhat quiet since then. As fans awaited the release, he cranked up the distribution with a slew of songs over the last three weeks.

His engineer and producer, Jason "Cheese" Alexander, announced on Instagram today that the album has been submitted to the label. Alexander posted a snapshot of a thumb drive on the streets of New York City, likely near the Atlantic Records offices, where he confirmed that he submitted The Last Slimeto for release on August 5th.

Despite the fact that the album has 30 songs in total, YB previously released a 10-song teaser as a sampler. Even with only a few days until its release, it appears that we won't know the tracklist until the entire project is released.

A few days ago, YB seemed to announce that he had signed a $60 million agreement with Atlantic Records ahead of the album's release. He also hinted at a surprise aspect in the project. We're not sure who it is, but we'd want to hear The Last Slimeto in its entirety.
