Young Thug Facing Lawsuit Over Atlanta Concert That Was Canceled Due To Incarceration.

Even while jailed, Young Thug has been sued with a new lawsuit.

Young Thug Sued For $150K By Promoter Over Canceled Show Due To The Rapper Being In Jail

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thugger was unable to play at an Atlanta event scheduled for January of this year owing to his imprisonment. He was arrested in May and is now being sued for $150,000 in damages and lawyers' costs for the June 18 event, which was canceled. Thug was refused bond in June during an hour-long hearing.

The Atlanta native was supposed to get $300,000 for a 45-minute set, with half of the money given up in advance. According to court filings, he would receive the remaining when the gig was completed. The $150,000 has yet to be returned to Atlanta-based A-1 Concert Entertainment, despite assurances from Thug's company, YSL Touring, that it would be.

“Due to his arrest and the nature of the felony criminal charges against Williams, it was immediately apparent in May 2022 that he would not be able to perform as required in the agreement,” the filing said. “To date, A-1 Concert has not received any reimbursement of the $150,000 owed to it.”
