Allen pled guilty to second-degree murder and robbery with a weapon, according to NBC Miami. He was one of four men charged with XXXTentacion's murder.

"Robert Allen... entered a plea," his attorney Jim Lewis stated. "He pled guilty to a lesser included offense of second-degree murder and armed robbery."

Allen consented to testify against his co-defendants Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome as part of the plea agreement. Allen's attorney stated that his client had less involvement in XXXTentacion's killing than the other suspected killers.

“Mr. Allen’s role in this, it was much less than the other three,” Lewis said. “More of an accessory after the fact than really part of the planning. Certainly, he never got out of the car, never had a gun, never shot anybody.”

Allen's judgment is set for February 23. The trial will be presided over by Broward Circuit Judge Michael Usan.

In June 2018, XXXTentacion, actual name Jahseh Onfroy, was shot and died in his native state of Florida. He was 20.
