NBA YoungBoy's crew is in disarray when one of his associates, D Dawg, was arrested following a deadly automobile collision that killed his passenger.
D Dawg was caught on Wednesday (September 21) after accidentally murdering his passenger in a single car wreck while escaping police during a high-speed chase, according to No Jumper.
D Dawg was taken to the hospital and is still being treated for his injuries. According to prison records, he was arrested on Thursday (September 22) and charged with manslaughter and resisting an officer. Police also allegedly discovered a ski mask and firearms in the car.
D Dawg was arrested only days after being discharged from jail for an unrelated case. The NBA affiliate had multiple run-ins with the police, including when the WBRZ Investigative Unit discovered he was just 14 years old when he was jailed in 2012 for the murder of Derrick Marioneaux on Wyandotte Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Marioneaux's wife and kid narrowly fled when Bailey and two others arrived to rob them, according to the victim's relatives at the time.
According to court documents, D Dawg pled guilty to manslaughter as a consequence of the circumstance. He was condemned to ten years in jail but only served eight.
Dawg was also charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident in 2018. This month, police arrested him for the shooting, and Judge Fred Crifasi granted him a $300,000 bail. Bailey posted bond a few days later and was involved in a police chase that resulted in the death of a passenger in his car.
While all of this is moving on within his camp, NBA YoungBoy just released his latest effort, Realer2, earlier this month. The 15-track collection is exclusively available on YoungBoy's YouTube page because it has yet to be released on streaming platforms.
The project was fueled by the Baton Rouge native, with only one feature from his fiancée Jazlyn Mychelle. The previously released "Purge Me" song by YB also acts as Realer 2's closing.
