A woman named as the legend Rapper Tupac Shakur was arrested and charged with assault with a baseball bat in Florida
According to Miami-Dade Police, a 34-year-old woman called Tupac Amaru Shakur was arrested on Tuesday (Sept. 6) and accused of attacking an elderly man (Sept. 8). She is accused of felony aggravated violence on a person 65 or older. On Wednesday, Shakur pled not guilty to the accusation (Sept. 7). She has been placed under home arrest.
According to Local 10 news, Shakur hit the victim multiple times with a bat when he was sitting outside the Hialeah Hospital at about 11:30 a.m. The man was able to take the bat away from him and flee the melee. During the incident, he allegedly received injuries to his face, right arm, right hand, and right leg.
Shakur later claimed she was the victim. Police decided she was the aggressor based on CCTV evidence and detained the lady. The sufferer rejected care, claiming Shakur was a vagabond who slept near the hospital.
The incident's cause is currently unknown. Shakur allegedly informed cops before her detention that she was "investigating (an) event that occurred at the downtown library."
