Mystikal's case for sexual assault has taken a serious note, with reports that he forced his alleged rape victim to pray with him before sexually abusing her.
According to AllHipHop, prosecutors stated that the New Orleans rapper, who was reportedly high on drugs at the time, intended to cleanse the woman's body of any "evil spirits" before the alleged rape.
The anonymous lady said the assault occurred on July 30 at his Prairieville home after Mystikal accused her of stealing $100 from him. He allegedly grew so enraged that he physically assaulted her, yanked her braids out of her hair, took her keys and cell phone, and barred her from leaving his home.
She reportedly said Mystikal sprayed her with rubbing alcohol before requesting a few "Hail Marys." She ultimately escaped and was hospitalized for injuries at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
On July 31, Mystikal was arrested in his native state of Louisiana on first-degree rape, domestic violence assault, strangling, and robbery charges. He was then arrested for illegal Xanax possession, heroin possession, methamphetamine possession, marijuana possession, and drug paraphernalia possession.
Despite the fact that Mystikal has pled not guilty to all accusations, his criminal record is tainted by similar charges. Mystikal pled guilty to sexual violence in 2003 and was sentenced to six years in jail. He was then imprisoned for nearly two years when a different lady accused him of raping her in a casino in 2017, but the case was eventually rejected.
Mystikal claims she sought the last claimed victim for $1,000 and when he refused, she threatened to accuse him of rape. Mystikal's lawyer has termed the charges "false." The 51-year-old is being jailed in Ascension Parish Jail without bail. If convicted, he faces life in jail.
