Post Malone reportedly cracked several ribs after a bad fall during a recent show. Post Malone's Twelve Carat Toothache Tour stop in St. Louis, Mo. on Sept. 17, at the Enterprise Center, was captured on video on Sunday (Sept. 18). During the popular video, Post walks across the stage without noticing a hole.
He inadvertently walks into the hole, his upper body and head slamming the stage with tremendous force. Post writhes in agony on stage, grasping at his ribcage. Medics and arena personnel rush over to help him.
Despite the apparent seriousness of the situation, Post Malone continued the concert. He allegedly reappeared several minutes later to apologize after being helped off the stage by doctors. He was then served a drink and the show resumed.
Malone has since addressed the fall in a social media video. He apologized to fans for cutting the concert short but also stated that he obtained pain medicine from a medical visit after the show and intends to continue the tour as planned.
Post Malon is on the first part of his 33-city tour, which began on September 10 in Omaha, Nebraska. He still has 28 concerts left on his cross-country tour, which will take him to Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Dallas, New York, Houston, Las Vegas, and other cities before wrapping up on Nov. 15 in Los Angeles.
The tour is in support of his new album, Twelve Carat Toothache, which was released in June. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 list, losing the top place to Bad Bunny's Un Verano Sin Ti, which still reigns supreme.
