It's been an entire week of endless Ye nonsense. Ye has received more press in the last month than he has in the previous decade, owing largely to his issues with Adidas and Gap. This, however, became the springboard for a series of contentious statements that promoted anti-Semitic tropes and garnered the sympathy of Neo-Nazis.
His business partners resisted and terminated their contracts with him, but the most surprising disclosure was the short closure of Donda Academy. The school's principal notified parents last night that they would be closing their doors for the rest of the school year, only to re-open this morning.
Following the closure, Ye approached 50 cent with the desire to assist him in expanding Donda Academy across the country, namely in Texas. Because 50 Cent presently resides in Houston, Ye sought the television mogul's assistance in establishing a new Donda college down south.
“We got Donda school designs we need to build with 50 in Houston,” Ye wrote.
“We got Donda school designs we need to build with 50 in Houston,” Ye wrote. Though he agreed to collaborate with the Donda rapper, he advised him to take a vacation from interviews and public pronouncements first.
"OK YE, let's build a school in Houston, but cool off," he wrote. "N***a, you hot right now, the Feds all on you!"
50's position is worth considering, especially because no one is ready to collaborate with him these days - with the exception of Antonio Brown. We previously reported that the fashion entrepreneur was booted out of Skechers' headquarters after arriving uninvited.
Ye allegedly sought to meet with the CEOs, presumably to discuss producing Yeezys, but they were not interested.
