EMINEM’S 'GODZILLA' FEAT. JUICE WRLD JOINS SPOTIFY BILLION STREAMS CLUB - WhatsOnRap

Eminem's 2020's hit single "Godzilla" which featured a posthumous appearance from Juice WRLD hit 1 billion Spotify streams.

Eminem has rejoined Spotify's Billions Club once more, with his 2020 single "Godzilla. On Monday (October 10), the Juice WRLD-assisted single surpassed a billion plays on the streaming site, making it the Detroit rapper's sixth song to do so.

Eminem's new success comes just after his Rihanna collaboration "Love The Way You Lie" surpassed a billion streams in July, and "The Real Slim Shady" surpassed a billion in June. "Without Me" debuted in January.

"Godzilla" is also the fourth song by the late Juice WRLD to reach the Billions Club, joining "Lucid Dreams," "All Girls Are the Same," and "Robbery."

"The Music To be Murdered By" Eminem single was significant because he allegedly shattered the world record for the fastest rap verse when he released it.

The verse surpassed "Rap God" and his appearance on Nicki Minaj's "Majesty," according to Genius. Eminem managed to spew 224 words in the song, totaling 330 syllables. That translates to 10.65 syllables per second or 7.23 words per second.

Since the release of his current greatest hits compilation Curtain Call 2, which featured tunes from Em's Relapse days in 2009 up to 2020's Music To Be Murdered By, Eminem has given countless thoughtful interviews like these. The collection contained "Godzilla."
