Kendrick Lamar's 'Good Kid, M.A.A.D City' Spends 10 Years On Billboard 200 Chart.

Kendrick Lamar's championship run on the Billboard chart keeps going.  Kendrick Lamar appears to be able to achieve almost anything. The famous artist's good kid, m.A.A.d city is set to become the first hip-hop studio album to stay a full ten years on the Billboard 200, adding to his already outstanding collection.

According to Chart Data, the album has extended its reign as the longest-charting hip-hop studio album in Billboard history.

According to the most recent Billboard 200 data, good kid, m.A.A.d city is presently ranked 46th. Even more amazing is the fact that this is one of three albums by the "Count Me Out" rapper on the chart. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is No. 26 this year, and DAMN, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 2017, is No. 63.

His debut album surpassed Eminem's The Eminem Show as the longest-charting hip-hop studio album in Billboard 200 history in 2019, spending 520 weeks on the chart. Curtain Call by Eminem has been on the charts for almost 600 weeks, yet it is a compilation rather than a studio album.

On October 22, the record will celebrate its tenth anniversary. It was undoubtedly the one that distinguished him and affirmed his poetic and thought-provoking approach. The album, which was distributed by Top Dawg Entertainment, Interscope, and Aftermath, produced numerous hip-hop classics that are still revered by fans today.

"Swimming Pools (Drank)," "B*tch, Don't Kill My Vibe," and "Poetic Justice" are among the singles that have become iconic in the genre's history. After selling 242,000 copies in its first week, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

This was the album that launched his career, as he went on to receive several Grammy nominations in 2014. The album's popularity grows, and it was the best-selling rap album on vinyl last year, selling 194,000 copies.

The Recording Industry Association of America certified it triple platinum after selling at least three million copies in the United States.

Rolling Stone just named the album the best concept album of all time, knocking out classics like The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Pink Floyd's The Wall.
