Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made quite a buzz earlier this week when they attended the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere in Los Angeles.
The A-list pair stole the show on the red carpet on Wednesday night (October 26), wearing identical linden green ensembles.
The singer wore a bedazzled gown and matching shoes, while the Harlem dignitary went for an oversized silhouette in a thick denim jacket and loose pants.
Rihanna gets collaborated with the highly anticipated movie by contributing her first single in over six years to the soundtrack of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The lead song for the film's soundtrack, "Lift Me Up," is set to be released on Friday (October 28).
According to an earlier article, "Lift Me Up" was produced by Rihanna, Tems, film director Ryan Coogler, and Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson as a memorial to the late Chadwick Boseman, the hero of the original Black Panther film, who died in 2020. Göransson produced the song, which was recorded in five different countries.
This will also be Rihanna's first new song as the main artist since 2016 when she released "Sledgehammer" for the film Star Trek Beyond. She's since worked on songs with Future ("Selfish"), N.E.R.D. ("Lemon"), DJ Khaled ("Wild Thoughts"), Kendrick Lamar ("Loyalty."), and PartyNextDoor ("Believe It").
