Following Gunna's release from jail on Wednesday, a video of him in court accepting his plea agreement has surfaced (Dec. 14).
A video from inside the courtroom was published on social media hours after his release, showing the Georgia native confessing to knowing about some crimes perpetrated by YSL. During the hearing, the footage shows the judge laying out the terms of the plea deal. She requests that Gunna "agree or admit" that each assertion is correct.
“YSL is a music label and a gang, and you have personal knowledge that members or associates have committed crimes in furtherance of the gang,” the judge states.
“Yes, m’am,” Gunna replies.
“You were present with [Young Thug] when hydrocodone, methamphetamines and a firearm were recovered. These items did not belong to you,” she explains.
“Yes, ma’am,” Gunna replies.
“I recognize, accept and deeply regret that my talent and music indirectly furthered YSL the gang to the detriment of my community,” the judge concludes.
Again, Gunna replied, “Yes, ma’am.”

Gunna was given credit for one year served, and the remainder of his sentence was suspended. He must perform 500 hours of community service and is not allowed to carry a pistol throughout his sentence. If he breaches the conditions of his plea deal, his suspended sentence might be removed.
He maintained his innocence and promised not to testify against the remaining YSL members on trial. However, WSB-TV Atlanta reports that "it is a condition of Gunna's trial that he testify if called, though he can claim the Fifth Amendment."
