NBA YOUNGBOY Drops New Project With FREDO BANG After Squashing Their Beef - WhatsOnRap

NBA YoungBoy & Fredo Bang squash their beef. Fredo will perform at YoungBoy’s "Stop the Violence Concert"

NBA YoungBoy has rewarded fans with yet more new songs while resolving an old feud. Extending his productive run in 2022, the Baton Rouge rap sensation surprised fans by releasing a new record named Lost Files on Friday (December 23). As the title indicates, the 21-song collection comprises both new and previously unreleased songs.

Even though YoungBoy has been an eager collaborator this year, releasing joint albums with DaBaby and Quando Rondo as well as performing on tracks with 2 Chainz, Quavo & TakeOff, Lil Nas X, and others, the 23-year-old rides solo dolo on this vast, hour-long collection.

Lost Files is YoungBoy's eighth full-length album of 2022 and the follow-up to Ma' I Got a Family, which was released in October. The house arrest-bound rapper toyed with the notion of releasing ten mixtapes this year before confessing last month that he "run out of lyrics."

The Never Broke Again leader, on the other hand, appears to have conquered his writer's block and plans to start up where he left off in the new year. He teased the release of his fifth studio album, tentatively titled I Rest My Case, in January earlier this month.

The mixtape was released shortly after NBA YoungBoy appeared to have reconciled with fellow Baton Rouge local Fredo Bang.

Sherhonda Gaulden, YoungBoy's mother, uploaded a flier on her Instagram Stories on Thursday (December 22) promoting a Christmas toy drive organized by her son's Never Broke Again label, which also includes Fredo Bang and TG Kommas.

The "Unity in the Community" event, scheduled for Saturday (December 24) in the rappers' Louisiana birthplace, offers free bikes, toys, blankets, coats, tennis shoes, and other items for local children and residents.

The conflict between NBA YoungBoy and Fredo Bang dates back to 2020, when the former threatened the latter on Instagram after he joked about "Me & My Son Dropping Together," referring to them both releasing new music on the same day.
