Drake's Los Angeles Home Reportedly Burglarized, A Suspect Was Arrested - WhatsOnRap

Drake's Los Angeles home was reportedly burglarized late on Thursday. The suspect, a man who was seen leaving the house, has been arrested

On Thursday night, a guy apparently attempted to break into the rapper's Los Angeles property. Drake's guards, according to TMZ, phoned the cops after witnessing an unknown male leave the residence carrying something.

The accused had fled by the time authorities arrived, prompting a search of the surrounding area. A man matching the suspect's description was observed going down the street just a few hours later.

Cops apprehended a guy who was allegedly carrying an item that was stolen from Drake's Beverly Crest residence.

Drake paid $75 million for the 10-bedroom mega-mansion, which was formerly owned by Robbie Williams, in an off-market transaction last year.

So at the time of the act, the rapper wasn't even home. He played two performances at the Apollo Theater in New York over the weekend.

It isn't Drake's first brush with an invader. In July, a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with misdemeanor trespassing on the same property after claiming Drake was his father and he was waiting for him to return home.
