6iX9ine Called Out Gunna Over Young Thug & YSL Support After Rico Plea Deal - WhatsOnRap

Gunna called out by 6ix9ine over Young Thug & YSL support after RICO plea deal

After his release from prison in December, Gunna expressed his support for Young Thug and other YSL members.

The DS4Ever rapper came back to Instagram on Tuesday with his first post since accepting a plea deal in the RICO case against the Atlanta collective, calling for the release of Thug and Yak Gotti and teasing his return to music.

“N-ggas acting like they switching to a side But it’s only one side,” he wrote alongside a photo of him sat next to a home studio set-up. “#YslTheLabel #FreeThug&Yak GUNNA BACC!!!!!”

6ix9ine took to Twitter to criticize Gunna for referring to YSL as a label after admitting it was a "gang" as part of his guilty plea.

“In court you said it was a gang here on IG u saying the label,” the rainbow-haired rapper wrote. “Lol u can’t make this shit up.”

Gunna's Alford plea, on the other hand, had his telling the judge that YSL was "both a music company and a gang."

On December 14, Gunna pleaded guilty to a gang conspiracy charge and was released after receiving a four-year sentence with one already served in prison. The remainder of his sentence will be served through 500 hours of community service. 6ix9ine recently slammed Gunna for accepting a plea deal and reportedly accusing Young Thug.
