 Drake and J. Cole spend a lot of time hooping when they aren't in the studio, and various Toronto Raptors players were asked for their thoughts on the rap titans' basketball abilities.

With Drizzy functioning as an official ambassador for the franchise, many players may have been affected in their support for the 6 God, even if the majority selected Cole on the court since he had previously played basketball professionally.

"He's actually one of the artists that really know how to play basketball," 2022 Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes stated of the Dreamville owner.

Added star guard Fred Van Vleet: “[J. Cole] can play a little bit. You know what I mean? Not professionally, obviously. Drake is just old-man YMCA game. He just doesn’t move like a basketball player.

“J. Cole moving super fluent so I’ma have to go with Cole,” guard Gary Trent Jr. said of choosing Cole over Drizzy in a potential one-on-one matchup.

In the booth, however, most of Raptors players are siding with the local hero, Drake. "Drake's low-key like the GOAT. Not low-key, [but] high-key. Whatever he drops is a banger,” Barnes continued.

Cole worked out with professional hoopers throughout 2022 and even appeared in a couple of professional leagues in Africa and Canada. Drake helping Cole secure a seat on the Canadian Elite Basketball League's Scarborough Shooting Stars.
