Lil Mosey Drops First New Music Since Beating Rape Case: 'I'm Back'

Lil Mosey has released his 1st new music since having beaten a rape case in 2020 that could have landed him in prison for life.

Lil Mosey decided to share a GIF of his own on Instagram on Friday (March 17) to promote his new single "Flu Game." “I’m back [Upside down face emoji] Flu Game out now on all platforms!! Link in my bio.”

The song "Flu Game" by Lil Mosey is inspired on Michael Jordan's 1997 Finals game versus the Utah Jazz. Jordan was suffering from flu-like symptoms and was exceedingly sleepy at moments throughout that game, yet he still managed to win and earn his sixth NBA title.

Lil Mosey is shown in the video clip for "Flu Game" wearing a classic Michael Jordan jersey with flashing diamonds while offering viewers his lyrical point of view. He can be seen in a variety of locations, including in front of adoring admirers and in a room surrounded by all of his golden awards.

“Pull up and I’m scorin’ (Scorin’)/ I’m just tryna ball like Michael Jordan (Jordan)/ I’ma answer when you callin’ (Callin’)/ Pick you up when you fallin’ (Fallin’)/ Tryna ball like Michael Jordan (Jordan)/ Look at my left wrist, it’s gorgeous (Gorgeous)/ Livin’ the life that I wanted (Wanted)/ They told me never stop ballin’ (Ballin’),”  Mosey raps

A jury in Chehalis, Washington, dismissed the rapper of all rape allegations on March 2. Lil Mosey was accused with second-degree rape after a woman said she was sexually attacked by him and another guy named Francisco Prater at a party in Randle, Washington in January 2020.
