50 Cent Surprises 'Final Lap' Tour Audience with Ed Sheeran Performance

50 Cent's Surprise Ed Sheeran Duet on The Final Lap Tour Leaves Fans Ecstatic.
At his recent London concert, 50 Cent orchestrated a thrilling surprise for fans. Amidst the energetic atmosphere at the 02 Arena, the G-Unit rapper hyped the crowd and unveiled a digital screen box, urging everyone to "turn it up even more." As a familiar chord progression echoed through the venue, a set piece descended, revealing none other than Ed Sheeran.

The acclaimed singer emerged from underneath the set and treated the audience to a live rendition of his 2017 megahit "Shape of You," eliciting cheers and excitement from concertgoers. Sheeran, sharing glimpses of the night on Instagram Stories, later enjoyed the show from a suite with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, and friends, even rapping along to classics like "In Da Club."

On 50 Cent's Instagram, the hip-hop veteran expressed his gratitude, posting joyful pictures with Sheeran and stating, "My man came through for me tonight, 💣BOOM💨LONDON went crazy! It don’t get bigger than this."

The collaboration between the 48-year-old rapper and Sheeran isn't entirely unexpected. Having previously collaborated on "Remember the Name" with Eminem for Sheeran's No. 6 Collaborations Project LP in 2019, the duo shares a musical history.

Currently embarked on the European leg of The Final Lap Tour, commemorating the 20th anniversary of his debut album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," 50 Cent's journey will extend to major cities in Southeast Asia and Oceania before concluding in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Dec. 21. The electrifying surprise with Ed Sheeran adds another memorable chapter to this milestone tour.
