Playboi Carti and Camila Cabello Fuel Speculation with FaceTime Call: Romance in the Air?

Playboi Carti and Camila Cabello's FaceTime Sparks Rumors of Romance or Collaboration Ahead of Album Release
Playboi Carti is heading up for the release of his highly anticipated third studio album, reportedly titled "I AM MUSIC," expected to drop in January 2024. The Atlanta rapper has been teasing fans with snippets from the album, including tracks like "H00DBYAIR," "2024," and "Different Day."

Adding fuel to the speculation mill, Carti recently shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with pop sensation Camila Cabello on Monday (Dec. 25).

Naturally, fans and followers began to speculate whether the interaction was purely professional, signaling a collaboration in the works, or if it hinted at a blossoming romantic relationship between the two artists.

An intriguing detail noticed by fans was Cabello's contact name saved as 'Jordan,' prompting speculations that the connection between the two artists might go beyond the realms of music.

This FaceTime call comes after Carti had previously shared an Instagram Story on December 17, featuring a picture of himself in the studio with Cabello and a caption that read, "Baby girl." As of now, Cabello has not publicly commented on the nature of their relationship or collaboration.

Earlier this month, Cabello was spotted in Turks and Caicos with Drake, fueling rumors of a possible collaboration between the two. Carti, on the other hand, provided glimpses into his life as a father through a short documentary titled "Dear O," featuring home video footage of beach outings, a Disneyland trip, and playful races in a park. His ex, Iggy Azalea, praised the video, commenting, "It’s cool how you can fit d**n near every visit into just one video. Talented!"

Carti's last project, "Whole Lotta Red," was released in December 2022, featuring standout tracks like "Sky," "ILoveUIHateU," and the Kanye West-assisted "Go2DaMoon." Since then, he has collaborated on various tracks, including "Popular" with The Weeknd and Madonna.
