Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg Tease "Missionary" Album on Jimmy Kimmel

Dr. Dre, the renowned hip-hop icon, made a triumphant return to late-night television, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live for the first time in three decades. Fresh from receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Dre engaged in a candid conversation with host Jimmy Kimmel, joined later by fellow rap legends Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.

In the interview, Dr. Dre reflected on his illustrious career, sharing anecdotes about his recent Walk of Fame honor, his diverse fanbase, and his enduring passion for hip-hop.

When asked about potential collaborations outside of the genre, Dre affirmed his love for hip-hop but expressed openness to working with artists from different backgrounds, citing his admiration for country music icon Dolly Parton.

The conversation took a nostalgic turn when Snoop Dogg joined Dre on stage, reminiscing about their early days in the studio and the making of Dre's seminal album "The Chronic." They also revealed exciting news about their ongoing collaboration, confirming the imminent release of Snoop's new album "Missionary," entirely produced by Dre himself.

Dre and Snoop teased fans with details about the upcoming album, revealing its unique title, "Missionary," a playful nod to their iconic debut collaboration "Doggystyle." Snoop emphasized that the project is nearing completion, with Dre set to commence mixing in mid-April.

Believe it or not, we are getting together again and we are almost done with the album. The first album was called “Doggystyle” so we decided to flip it and call this one “Missionary.”

Snoop Dogg's New Album "Missionary" Includes a Feature from 50 Cent:

Notably, the album features a guest appearance from rap heavyweight 50 Cent, adding to the anticipation surrounding its release.

I got one with Snoop. I’ll tell you how that works. I get text message from Dre, I get text message from Em almost simultaneously and it goes like ‘stop what you doing, I don’t care if you producing television shows, I don’t care what you doing, stop and figure out how to get this done for us right now because it’s that urgent.’ And then I went and wrote my part. When I get it done, I sent it back and I get fire emojis back cause Dre usually don’t say things.
