Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly's Emo-Rap Collaboration: 'Genre: Sadboy' Project Set to Drop This Month
Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly have set the stage on fire with their latest collaborative venture, set to drop at the end of this month.

The dynamic duo took to Instagram on Wednesday (March 20) to share a sneak peek into their upcoming joint project. In the studio together, they teased snippets from the album, giving fans a taste of what's to come. One track in particular stood out, with its downtempo melody and poignant lyrics reflecting themes of melancholy and introspection.

Dubbed "Genre: Sadboy," the project is slated for release on March 29th, promising an emo-rap collaboration of monumental proportions. To complement the album drop, the duo is also gearing up for the premiere of a documentary chronicling the making of the project on March 21st. 

Machine Gun Kelly and Trippie Redd Tease 'Genre: Sadboy' Project with Preview of Emotionally Stirring Song:

This isn't the first time Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly have joined forces. Their musical synergy was evident on the 2019 track "Candy" from MGK's Hotel Diablo LP, followed by another collaboration in 2020 with "All I Know" from his album Tickets To My Downfall.

In a show of reciprocity, MGK lent his talents to Trippie's 2021 effort, appearing on tracks like "Pill Breaker" and "Red Sky" from the album Pegasus. Their musical chemistry extended beyond the studio, as they hit the road together in 2022 for Kelly's Mainstream Sellout tour, with Redd as the opening act.

Individually, both artists have been making waves in the music scene. MGK showcased his versatility with tracks like "Pressure" and "Don't Let Me Go," where he addressed personal struggles and emotional tribulations. Meanwhile, Trippie Redd unleashed a flurry of releases in 2023, dropping three albums: Mansion Musik, A Love Letter To You 5, and Saint Michael V2, culminating in the recent release of his single "LWRW."

With their combined talent and track record of success, the forthcoming collaboration between Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly is poised to make waves in the hip-hop landscape, captivating audiences with their raw emotion and lyrical prowess.
