In his candid message, Mondo admitted that his earlier statements about Gunna were misguided.
He acknowledged that Gunna did not actually "rat" on anyone but rather "folded under pressure."
Mondo emphasized that Gunna, who was not involved from the start, was never in a position to serve significant time. He lamented that his comments were driven by anger and frustration, not by the full picture of the situation.

Mondo's post reveals his disillusionment with the true perpetrator who, according to him, remains at large and undeservedly praised.
He expressed deep regret for contributing to the narrative that Gunna was a snitch.
Mondo clarified that his intention was to defend his associates and express frustration with the system, not to malign Gunna’s character.
YSL Mondo Speaks Out, Said Gunna Should Never Have Been Called a Rat:
"I'm man enough to say I should've never spoke about the Gunna situation cause technically he didn't rat he just kinda folded under pressure & should've just stayed down with his mans till everything was over cause all the originals know he ain't did nothing wasn't even around from the beginning so he wasn't gone do no real time regardless."
He added that his previous remarks were a result of emotional turmoil and a misguided attempt to stand up for his peers.

Gunna, who was arrested alongside Young Thug, reached a plea deal in late 2022, accepting a single charge of racketeering.
Despite his release and the subsequent release of two albums—"A Gift & a Curse" and "One of Wun"—he has faced persistent snitching accusations.
Mondo’s apology comes as part of an ongoing effort to address the fallout from his previous statements and to set the record straight about Gunna’s role in the legal proceedings.
