Unreleased Drake x Pressa Collab ‘National Treasure’ Leaks Online
An unreleased Drake track has ignited serious buzz, and not for the reasons fans might expect.
The song, reportedly titled “National Treasure,” features rising Toronto rapper "Pressa", but it wasn’t unveiled via an official drop or a surprise livestream.
Instead, the song randomly debuted during a crypto-themed livestream, leaving Drake fans confused and the internet spinning.

Crypto Meets Unreleased Drake?
In a bizarre twist, the leak came courtesy of "Bagwork", a group of crypto influencers who casually played the track while promoting a meme coin.
The song wasn’t previewed on radio, Apple Music, or by any label insiders, it was "dropped mid-shill", with no warning.

This unusual rollout sparked both outrage and curiosity, with fans scrambling to figure out how the streamers got access and why it was tied to crypto in the first place.
Akademiks Unpacks the Leak
Hip-hop commentator DJ Akademiks later addressed the situation in a livestream of his own.
According to his inside info, “National Treasure” was originally intended for a music video tied to Drake’s “No Face” project. The focus was meant to highlight "Pressa", but plans fell apart.
“This is why I think the song got leaked, truth be told ... They thought it was going to come out with a video. But Drake didn’t clear the song. He was focused on 100 Gigs, so the track just never materialized.”
Akademiks also hinted that frustration from people close to the project could’ve led to the leak, especially if the song was shelved without warning.Akademiks just went live on YouTube & Kick and played the exclusive Drake track that leaked over the weekend. 🎶

Drake Was Not Amused
Drake reportedly had no idea the track had surfaced and was clearly annoyed by the situation. On a call with streamer Adin Ross, he vented:
“I don’t even know who the f**k those kids are ... I asked you who they are. What the f**k?”
According to sources, Drake was in Berlin at the time, unaware that a song connected to his name was trending on social media, because of a meme coin.
A Sh*t at DeRozan?
While fans were still digesting the leak, attention quickly turned to a bar that seemed to call out NBA player DeMar DeRozan, Drake’s longtime friend and former Toronto Raptors star.
“When you was part of the team we used to be planning our Mexico trips in the spring / We must’ve been dealing in the spur of the moment / Cause why (Kawhi) did we think you could get us a ring?”
The triple entendre referencing “Spur,” “Kawhi,” and “ring” was hard to ignore.
DeRozan, who was traded to the Spurs in 2018, has reportedly aligned himself with "Kendrick Lamar," Drake’s rap rival during their recent feud, fueling speculation that the bar was intentional.
Where Does This Leave “National Treasure”?
Drake’s upcoming album, “Iceman,” remains without a release date, and according to Akademiks, “National Treasure” isn’t expected to appear on the tracklist.
Still, the song’s existence, and messy rollout prove one thing: Even when his music leaks in the most unexpected way, Drake remains a cultural lightning rod.
From meme coins to NBA beef, he’s always at the center of conversation, whether he wants to be or not.
