Young Thug Alleges Drake Dissed Gunna on 'Business Is Business' in New Leaked Jail Call

Young Thug Alleges Drake Dissed Gunna on Opening Track of ‘Business Is Business’

Young Thug Says Drake Dissed Gunna on 'Business Is Business' Intro

Young Thug is once again making headlines from behind bars, this time over comments he made in a leaked jail call where he claims Drake dissed Gunna on the intro of his 2023 album, Business Is Business.

While Thug remains incarcerated on ongoing RICO charges, several of his recorded phone conversations have surfaced online.

One of them, which emerged recently, has caught the attention of rap fans and stirred the pot in the ongoing debate about loyalty and betrayal within the Atlanta rap scene.

In the leaked call, Thugger discusses the track “Parade on Cleveland,” which opens the Business Is Business album.

He suggests that Drake’s verse on the intro wasn’t just lyrical, it was personal, and it was aimed straight at Gunna.

“Drake got down, went straight at his a*s. Drake did the intro for the album. He went right at his a*s in the worst way. He trip on the intro. First eight bars talking nasty to the boy.”

The intro lyrics Drake delivered have since been heavily scrutinized, particularly the following bars:

“I’m about to mop up some boys, it’s custodian time / Me and my thoughts is the loneliest time / Don’t tell me ’bout loyalty, show me this time / Don’t tell me ’bout loyalty, show me this time / Business is business, you owe me this time.”

Young Thug Says Drake Didn't Hold Back Dissing Gunna on Album Intro:

Many fans believe this is a not-so-subtle jab at Gunna, who was widely criticized for taking a plea deal in the YSL case, a move some viewed as disloyal to Young Thug.

In another leaked conversation, Thug reportedly expressed disappointment that Drake hadn’t done more to support him legally during his incarceration.

While the OVO frontman has remained publicly silent on the matter, it’s known he gifted Thug $1 million upon his release from a brief prior sentence, showing there’s still history between the two collaborators.

The growing number of leaked jail calls is not only fueling rap drama but also causing personal fallout.

One of the recordings even led to backlash from Thug’s partner, Mariah The Scientist, showing that the consequences of these leaks extend far beyond the music.

As speculation around the Drake-Gunna diss intensifies, fans and industry insiders are watching closely to see whether either artist will respond publicly, or if the next revelation will come from yet another leaked call.
