Lil Tjay was shot many times inside a Chipotle in Edgewater, New Jersey, on Wednesday (June 22), and while he is still in the hospital, TMZ believes the 21-year-old is awake and communicating. According to those acquainted with Tjay's status, the "In My Head" rapper is awake, attentive, and communicating on his own. Doctors just removed his breathing tube, and his voice is said to sound normal, which is remarkable given that he was shot numerous times in the neck and chest.The encouraging news came after officials apprehended three individuals in connection with the shooting. According to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Mohamed Konate attempted an armed robbery on Lil Tjay and two of his buddies. Konate is accused of firing the near-fatal bullets. Following the tragedy, the Hip Hop community expressed its sympathies, with Casanova sending a compassionate but firm message to his pal. "N-gga, you should know better!!!" he posted on Instagram.
