50 Cent has released the trailer for his upcoming tv project, which will investigate the murder of various famous rappers. Hip Hop Homicides will air on AMC Network's We TV on November 3rd at 9 p.m. ET. 50 will serve as a producer alongside Mona Scott-Young, and the series will be hosted by journalist/podcaster Van Lathan.
The documentary series will delve into the tragic deaths of rap musicians such as XXXTENTACION, King Von, Chinx, and Soulja Slim, among others.
It aims to uncover information about the homicides, many of which remain unsolved, over the course of eight episodes and contains discussions with people close to the dead artists. The trailer below features cameos by French Montana, Juvenile, and Asian Doll.
In a statement, 50 said, “G-Unit Film and Television has thrived by telling real stories, As I continue to grow my current slate, premium non-scripted programming will be a major focus. Hip Hop loves things that are damaged. This series will shed light on the artists that didn’t make it through the struggle.”
