Following rescheduling a festival performance, Lil Baby sparked a ruckus. The rapper was supposed to headline Vancouver's Breakout Festival on Sunday, but he backed out at the last minute.
According to TMZ, fans reacted negatively to the cancellation by destroying areas of the PNE Amphitheater, which resembled a "war zone." During the violent demonstration, they set fire to tents and toppled food stalls and garbage cans. They also damaged TV displays, scattering shards of glass everywhere.
“We waited over an hour for him to show up, but he never showed up,” said one fan, while another described the chaotic scene. “Everyone started leaving but some people stayed back, obviously, and they started rioting and breaking all the tents and everything."

Baby, who just completed his "One of Them Ones" tour with Chris Brown, was set to highlight the event on Sunday, which also included Polo G, Cordae, Coi Leray, and Babyface Ray.
He apologized on Monday, stating he was physically still unable perform. He stated in an Instagram Story. “I would like to start off by saying I truly apologize to Vancouver Canada, The Breakout Festival And To Everyone Who was in attendance. I have been going so hard these past few months without any breaks that it finally caught up with me. And My Body Completely Shut Down I owe you guys big time and will for sure make up for it soon.”
