"One Of My Biggest Dreams Finally Came True:" Diddy Attends Dr. Dre's Studio For The Very First Time

Diddy posted an in-studio Instagram post alongside Dr. Dre for the very first time on Tuesday night. Whereas Diddy may still not agree with the current state of R&B, the Love Records founder has returned to the studio, this time with West Coast superproducer Dr. Dre. On Tuesday (August 30), Diddy uploaded an Instagram photo set from his session with Dr. Dre, marking the two hip-hop heavyweights' first collaboration.

“Yesterday, one of my biggest dreams finally came true,” Diddy wrote in the caption. I remember the first time I heard @DrDre’s production. It gave me clear direction on the level of Producer that I wanted to be. Last night, I got the chance to work with this man and to see his genius as he coached me through vocals.”

Diddy added, “He reminded me of myself, but with a different style and way more focused. I gotta step my focus up! lol, But it was a great experience and I thank God for it. I hope one day you'll get to have the same experience with someone that you always looked up to as a hero.”

"The two music moguls came together to collaborate for Dr. Dre's highly anticipated upcoming album with Snoop Dogg, who was also in attendance," a source for Diddy's crew informed. Producing with Dr. Dre has long been a dream for Mr. [Sean] Combs

Dr. Dre was most recently spotted in the studio with Eminem and Snoop Dogg, who performed their new track "From the D 2 the LBC" at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. Diddy is now focusing on an R&B album for his own label Love Records, which will feature a duet with Bryson Tiller called "Gotta Move On."
