Takeoff's primary cause of death was "penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm”

The official report on Takeoff's shooting death has been revealed by the Harris County Medical Examiner in Houston.

According to the investigation, the major cause of death was a "penetrating gunshot wound of the head and chest into the arm" outside of a Houston company.

The medical examiner's office has not yet completed its report, but Takeoff's body is ready for delivery to a funeral home, according to the report.

On Wednesday, November 2, the Harris County Medical Examiner in Texas allegedly classified Takeoff's cause of death as being shot numerous times outside of 810Billiards & Bowling in Houston on Nov. 1.

According to TMZ, the medical examiner's report mentions Takeoff having "penetrating gunshot wounds to the head and body into his arm."

Takeoff was shot and killed outside a Houston bowling alley at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday when at least one individual opened fire following an incident. He was declared dead at the site. Quavo, Takeoff's uncle and fellow Migos member, was there during the incident but was not injured. According to the Houston Police Department, two additional people were shot during the confrontation and were taken to the hospital in private vehicles for non-life-threatening injuries.

Video footage has emerged online showing Quavo getting into a basketball disagreement, which allegedly led to the shooting. Someone may be seen in the video throwing a punch moments before the gunfire started.

Since the moment Takeoff died, there has been an outpouring of condolences and sympathies for him and his family on social media. Migos member Offset, who also happens to be Takeoff's cousin, made his first public acknowledgment of the tragedy on Wednesday by changing his Instagram profile photo to an image of the slain Atlanta rapper smiling with a heart next to his head.

Quality Control Music, Takeoff's record company, also expressed their tribute to the renowned musician in a statement.

"It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved brother Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Takeoff," the statement reads. "Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated. Please respect his family and friends as we all continue to process this monumental loss."
