Akademiks reportedly challenged Lil Baby to a fight and is willing to put up the money to make it happen.
During a Twitch broadcast on Tuesday (December 13), the social media celebrity called out the Atlanta superstar, calling him a "retarded rapper" and threatening to "choke him to death." Despite calling out other rappers in the past, he claims no one is eager to battle him.
“I will fight Lil Baby for free or for money,” Ak said. “I just wanna get in the ring with him. You ain’t got no 4PF, n-gga. I will choke you to death, I will punch you in your face. You’re not doing shit. Stop it. You’re a fucking retarded rapper, you can’t do shit. Stop it. Who gon’ stand on that?
“I’m putting this out on public media, n-gga. If Lil Baby really thought it was some shit, he’d be like, ‘Yo Ak, this really get into it.’ I’ve said this shit mad times, have you heard any rapper say, ‘Yo Ak, well fuck it then, let’s get it in.’ Not one of these n-ggas, bro. Not one of them.”
He added: “If Lil Baby even hinted at it, n-gga, I’d be like, ‘Let’s go. Let’s go, n-gga.'”Lil Baby still hasn't responded to Akademiks' challenge.

Akademiks' conflict with Lil Baby stems from the rapper's references to him on "On Now On" and "Top Priority," both tracks from his current album It's Only Me. "Akademiks know he ain't as rich as me," Baby rapped across the tracks, and "Akademiks, n-ggas think they can't get touched."
Akademiks reacted to Baby's lyrical shots in an interview with VladTV earlier this month, claiming the rapper lacks intellect, has Tourette's syndrome, and is addicted to Percocet.
“My new nickname for Baby is Short Bus Baby,” he said. “He’s clearly just not that smart, bro. Because of my history with him, he thought I was talking about him when I wasn’t talking about him. He hit me up privately, I explained to him I’m not talking about him — and he was still super upset.
He added: “And by the way, I didn’t think that was a slight, I just thought that was him being stupid. He has one of those Tourette’s moments every now and then. You see him in the corner, he’s just punching at the air, he’s just flipping the water bottle. He’s battling the Percs and a lot of demons. I get it, wasn’t mad at that.”
