Rihanna Faces Backlash After Posting Photo Of Her Son: “My Son So Fine! Idc!” - WhatsOnRap

Rihanna faces backlash for calling her son "Fine"

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting their second child, but fans have only seen a glance of their firstborn this week. The couple welcomed their first child in May 2022, despite their best efforts to keep the news quiet.

Rihanna and Rocky did not confirm the news until several days later. The paparazzi have been all over the couple, as predicted, attempting to capture the first look of their son. Finally, Rihanna managed the big announcement by launching a TikTok page before the paparazzi could mar the scene.

Nonetheless, as a celebrity couple, Rihanna and Rocky have been quite cautious of their kid. Rihanna recently told British Vogue that she never intended to introduce her baby to the world through the press.

“We get to decide as parents when and how we do that. End of story,” she wrote. “We’ve been protecting him thus far and you don’t have any consent to be posting photos or selling photos of my child, a minor. Get the hell out of here with that.”

The cover story included photographs of Rihanna, her kid, and A$AP Rocky as a family, and it got a lot of attention. Some of the photos showed Rocky holding the baby while Rihanna walked in front of him, holding his hand.

Later she posted a selfie of herself leaning against a bed, near to her son. "My son is doing fantastic!" "Idc idc idc!" she captioned the picture, which many admirers thought was an unusual way to describe her baby.

The criticism poured in, as predicted, in her comment area. Several people chastised her for referring to her kid as "fine," including one reader who wondered, "Who calls a baby fine?" Rihanna added, “his mother!” However, the best clap back came after a fan stated that her son “is not a grown man.” Rihanna shut them down completely, writing, “you just keep you lil cougar paws away from him and we good!”  Once it concerns her son, Rihanna isn't messing around.
