Missing rappers, friend found dead days after canceled performance in Detroit: report.

According to reports, three Detroit rappers have gone missing within a week of canceling a January 21 show.

Armani Kelly (Marley Whoop), 28, Dante Wicker, 31, and Montoya Givens, 31, all had been missing since early January 22.

“It’s our understanding that the performance got canceled, and from there – we just have a whole lot of unanswered questions that we are trying to find out,” said Detroit commander of crimes Michael McGinnis.

“The mother of one of the victims, the next day, made a report of the missing person. That mother became very proactive in the investigation and started searching for her vehicle through OnStar.”

“We want to find them and get them home to their loved ones,” he continued. “Really think about the victims’ families in this case, they have no answers. They don’t know where their loved one is. We need help. If somebody knows something, we’re asking please call and share that information with us.”

Authorities say the three Detroit rappers who went missing after canceling a gig scheduled for January 21 were discovered dead inside a Highland Park condominium. Before their remains were recovered, the three men had been missing for about two weeks.

“As of now we haven’t confirmed the identity of any victims inside or a manner of death,” Michigan State Police District tweeted. “Please remember all victims have families and we don’t have the luxury of guessing on their identity and then retracting if we didn’t get it right. Once information is confirmed we will update.”
