Tory Lanez's Attorney Says He Has Evidence That Shooting DNA Was False & Misleading

Tory Lanez's attempts to be released from prison have recently been more urgent. The troubled Canadian sent an open letter this weekend, arguing that his trial with Megan Thee Stallion was unfair.

His new lawyer now claims to have some intriguing new evidence that will be released later today. Instagram user @baezlawfirm broke the news early Tuesday (April 25) morning in a Story post. "Today is National DNA Day," started the attorney's speech.

"We are happy to announce that Tory Lanez will be releasing information about the DNA in his case that gave false and misleading information to his jury," Jose Baez later said. Finally, the R&B star's legal lawyer tossed in a "#FreeToryLanez," clearly wanting to bring his customer back to freedom soon.

It's unknown when Lanez expects to reveal his big news. Nonetheless, the letter he penned gives us some insight into how he's been feeling since his incarceration in December 2022.

"Until my court date, I'll be posting the OUTRAGEOUS & DISGUSTING INJUSTICES used against me by the PROSECUTION to get the conviction they so DESPERATELY wanted, DESPITE the evidence they knew existed," he said last week in an IG post.
