Symba Boldly Says He Raps Better Than Eminem, Claiming It's About "Rhyming Words" - WhatsOnRap

Symba Claims He’s A Better Rapper Than Eminem

Symba's Bold Assertion, Challenging Eminem's Rap Legacy Beyond Rhymes
Eminem's standing as a rap icon has become a hot topic of discussion in recent times. During a dynamic panel discussion titled "The Great Debate" at REVOLT World in Atlanta, Georgia, Bay Area rapper Symba boldly asserted that he surpasses the acclaimed "Mockingbird" rapper in the realm of hip-hop. He confidently stated that simply rhyming words isn't the sole measure of a rapper's prowess, going as far as to claim he could name five superior lyricists.

While Symba holds Eminem in high regard as a person, he draws a clear distinction when it comes to evaluating their respective rap abilities. "I respect Eminem on a personal level," Symba began. ""But as a rapper, I feel like I can name five better rappers." When pressed by fellow panelist Tierra Whack, who asked directly if he thought he was better than Eminem, Symba took a moment to reflect before decisively responding with a resounding "Wait, so, you think you’re better than Eminem?"." He then emphasized, "Yes." He continued and said, "Anybody can rhyme words, [but] what are you saying?"

Symba provided context for his bold statement, emphasizing that true artistry in rap transcends mere wordplay. To him, it's about the depth of substance and the resonant message conveyed through the lyrics. Symba, a proud representative of the Bay Area, boasts his own chart-topping hits. His music carries a weighty message, too.

His 2022 album "Results Take Time" featured industry heavyweights like Roddy Ricch, 2 Chainz, and Pusha T. This album not only catapulted him to recognition but also showcased his authentic lyrical prowess and distinctive delivery.

This ongoing discourse regarding Eminem's position in the rap pantheon continues to ignite impassioned debates. It prompts thought-provoking discussions about the core of true artistry in hip-hop and whether Eminem's revered status as the "Rap God" stands uncontested.

While Symba may not include Eminem in his top five, there are countless individuals worldwide who do. Eminem's illustrious rap career boasts nearly a dozen No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart and an estimated 115 million records sold globally. His influence on the genre is undeniable, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of contemporary music.
