Drake's "Scary Hours 3" EP: A Rap Battlefield Unleashing Shots at Foes
In a bold return, Drake unleashed the "Scary Hours 3" EP, titled "For All The Dogs: Scary Hours Edition." Asserting his greatness, he didn't shy away from firing shots at adversaries, including Joe Budden and Pusha T.

Joe Budden, recently targeted by Drake for criticizing the "For All The Dogs" album, faces retaliation on "Stories About My Brother." Drake dismisses the notion of seeking validation from an ex-musician, asserting his elevated position while his rivals remain at base camp, planning futile expeditions.  “Imagine us getting our validation from an ex-musician searching for recognition / Same story every time, they heckle in repetition / I’m top of the mountain, these ni–as still down at base camp, they planning they expedition.”

The track also takes aim at 6ix9ine, deriding those prone to legal troubles and deposition drama. Drake's lyrical prowess is evident as he weaves in clever references to the rapper named after a s*x position. “Y’all the type to catch a charge, head to the deposition / And act like the rapper named after the s-x position.”

The feud with Pusha T resurfaces on the Alchemist-produced "Wick Man," with Drake recalling past jabs. The "tick, tick" line echoes Pusha's mockery of Drake's producer 40's health on "The Story of Adidon," portraying the rival rapper as financially diminished.

Kanye West isn't spared, with Drake addressing him on "Red Button." He reflects on past truces and boosts, pointing out the premeditated nature of their interactions. The track emphasizes Drake's refusal to be swayed easily.

“Every time you need me for a boost, I never hesitated / Every time that Yeezy called a truce, he had my head inflated / Thinkin’ we gon’ finally peace it up and get to levitatin’ / Realize that everything premeditated,” he raps.

"Scary Hours 3" showcases Drake's mastery in navigating the rap battlefield, adding layers to his complex narrative in the hip-hop realm. The EP not only solidifies his status as a great but also underscores his ability to command attention and stir controversy.
