Trina Asserts Beyoncé As The  ‘No. 1 Female Rapper’

Trina Applauds Beyoncé's Role in Shaping Female Rap Landscape Beyond Pop and R&B
In a recent interview with HipHopDX backstage at One Music Fest 2023 in Atlanta, Trina expressed her admiration and gratitude for Beyoncé's influence in the rap scene, extending beyond the realms of pop and R&B.

Trina acknowledged Beyoncé as the top female rapper when she engages in rap, emphasizing the inspiration drawn from Queen Bey's involvement in songs.
According to Trina, hearing Beyoncé incorporate rap elements into her music serves as a significant source of inspiration for emerging female artists. Trina praised the diversity in the current music landscape, noting how contemporary female artists bring a variety of sounds to the industry.
Trina also came to the defense of new-generation female rappers, such as Se*yy Red and Sukihana, who faced criticism for their explicit lyrics. The veteran rapper appreciates the evolving styles and expressions that these artists bring to the forefront.

On a different note, Beyoncé's impact extends beyond music, as evidenced by the success of her stadium shows packaged into a movie titled "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé." The film achieved remarkable success at the box office, grossing over $38 million globally and ranking as the fifth highest-grossing concert film of all time.

Directed by Beyoncé herself, "Renaissance" made history by opening at No. 1 at the box office with over $22 million, marking the first time a film achieved such a feat on the post-Thanksgiving weekend in two decades.

This recognition places Beyoncé in the esteemed company of iconic figures like Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber. The film's success further solidifies Beyoncé's influence and enduring impact on the entertainment industry.
