Joe Budden Reveals Why He Turned Down Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 Tour Offer
Joe Budden recently shed light on his decision to turn down an enticing offer from Nicki Minaj to appear as a special guest on her Pink Friday 2 Tour. The revelation came during an episode of his self-titled podcast, where Budden disclosed that Nicki had personally reached out to him, inviting him to perform his iconic hit single "Pump It Up" at a show in his hometown of New Jersey.
Despite the flattering invitation, the former Slaughterhouse MC, who retired from the rap scene in 2018, confessed that he simply wasn't physically prepared to take on the challenge. "I thought about it," Budden explained, acknowledging the opportunity, but cited physical limitations. "It ain't the words; it's my body. I gotta go out there and act hype. I ain't hype no more! I didn't let Jersey down," he added, expressing his rationale behind declining the offer.

Joe Budden  Speaks Out About Declining to Perform Alongside Nicki Minaj:

While Budden's absence may have disappointed some fans, Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 Tour continues to captivate audiences with an array of star-studded guest appearances. Most notably, during a recent show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Nicki surprised fans by bringing out fellow rap icon 50 Cent. The duo delivered an electrifying performance of their collaboration "Beep Beep," with 50 Cent treating the crowd to renditions of his own chart-toppers such as "Candy Shop."

In addition to 50 Cent, Nicki has also delighted fans with guest appearances from other notable figures in the hip-hop community. At a previous tour stop in Newark, New Jersey, she shared the stage with none other than Jadakiss and rising star Fivio Foreign. Taking to social media, Nicki expressed her admiration for Jadakiss, hailing him as one of her all-time favorite MCs.

However, the tour hasn't been without its controversies. During his appearance at Madison Square Garden, 50 Cent seized the opportunity to reignite his ongoing feud with Diddy, making pointed remarks about the Bad Boy Records founder and his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy. Despite the drama, Nicki Minaj continues to command attention with her dynamic performances and star-studded lineup of guest artists.

As the Pink Friday 2 Tour continues to unfold, fans eagerly anticipate which surprise guests will join Nicki on stage next, ensuring that each show remains an unforgettable experience for hip-hop enthusiasts around the world.
