Young Thug Faces Backlash After Leaked 2-Hour Interrogation Names Peewee Roscoe in 2015 Lil Wayne Tour Bus Sh**ting, Denies Snitching as Audio Goes Viral

Young Thug Shuts Down Snitching Claims After Peewee Roscoe Named in Leaked 2-Hour Interrogation

Young Thug Interrogation Video Resurfaces, Names Peewee Roscoe in Lil Wayne Tour Bus Shooting

Young Thug is back in the headlines after an old police interrogation video from 2015 resurfaced online on August 26, 2025, stirring new controversy in the hip-hop and rap community.

The video, over two hours long, shows the Atlanta rap superstar being questioned by police while in custody, and it's reigniting debates around loyalty, snitching, and survival in the rap game.

Originally leaked nearly two years ago, the interrogation clip has now gone viral again, largely due to Thug allegedly naming Jimmy “Peewee Roscoe” Winfrey, the man accused of sh**ting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus in 2015.

The questioning took place after Young Thug was arrested for allegedly threatening a mall security guard, but investigators used the opportunity to probe deeper into the high-profile sh**ting.

In the clip, Young Thug distances himself from the incident while seemingly referencing Roscoe:

“This moth*rf**** Wayne from New Orleans. I’m from Atlanta. This n**** was in Atlanta and I was in New Orleans… They said Roscoe did it. I don’t wanna block out y’all case by saying Roscoe ain’t do that s***. There’s no one Roscoe? Man, that man a f***** scrub… I don’t know. I honestly don’t know.”

The resurfaced footage caused an uproar on social media, where fans debated whether Thug had crossed the line or simply played it smart. In response, Young Thug took to X (formerly Twitter) to shut down snitching rumors. He tweeted:

“They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?”

Shortly after, Peewee Roscoe himself jumped in with public support for Thug, dismissing any accusations of disloyalty.

"Jeff clean as Listerine, man. Clean as ivory soap, ya feel me? When you go into the interrogation room, that's what you do, Kept it silent ... kept it overly real."

The renewed attention on the interrogation also reignites chatter around Thug’s tense relationship with Gunna, who took an Alford plea in 2022 during the YSL RICO trial.

Though Gunna denied with prosecutors, fans still question the move. As the YSL RICO case continues to evolve, Young Thcooperating ug remains firm that the leaked footage proves his loyalty rather than betrayal.

But in the world of rap and hip-hop, where "no snitching" is sacred, public perception can flip with one viral moment.
