A$AP Rocky Seemingly Disses Drake on Latest Track “Trunks”

Did A$AP Rocky Just Diss Drake in His New Song “Trunks”?

A$AP Rocky Sparks Drake Diss Rumors with “Trunks” Lyrics Referencing Fake Muscles and Canada Dry

A$AP Rocky has social media buzzing with the release of his latest single, “Trunks,” a track packed with clever wordplay, sharp metaphors, and some potentially pointed bars.

Though the Harlem rapper doesn’t drop any names directly, fans are convinced that a few lines may be aimed squarely at Drake.

A$AP Rocky Appears to Diss Drake in New Track “Trunks”

In the track, Rocky delivers bars that raised eyebrows across the hip-hop community:

“BBL, think they built / They strainin' when they trainin' in the gym / They think they Wilt Chamberlain / Can't name a b*tch who p*ssy I ain't k*lled / You l@me as sh*t, we ain't forget / The muscles, they ain't real.”

Many listeners immediately interpreted the “muscles” and “BBL” references as potential shots at Drake, who’s long been the subject of rumors surrounding cosmetic enhancement and a possibly surgically enhanced physique.

While these claims have never been confirmed, they’ve remained a topic of online speculation for years — and Rocky’s timing couldn’t be more provocative.

Another bar raising eyebrows is:
“Cookie-cutter n***as, soda pop, yeah, they Canada Dry.”

That “Canada Dry” punchline didn’t go unnoticed. Fans quickly connected it to a well-known diss from Common back in 2012 — a track that was widely believed to be aimed at Drake.

Now, over a decade later, A$AP Rocky dropping a similar reference has only deepened speculation that the Harlem rapper may be throwing subliminal shade toward the Toronto superstar.

The potential tension between Rocky and Drake isn’t entirely new. Fans have pointed to past moments of friction, particularly surrounding Kendrick Lamar, whose ongoing feud with Drake has dominated headlines in 2024 and 2025.

With Rocky often seen aligning with Kendrick creatively and personally, some believe the Harlem MC has subtly taken sides. Fueling the speculation further is Rocky’s relationship with Rihanna, who famously shares a complicated history with Drake.

Now partners and parents of two children with a third on the way Rocky and Rihanna’s bond could easily be viewed as another indirect point of tension.

Whether or not Rocky intended “Trunks” to be a direct diss, fans and hip-hop heads are diving deep into the lyrics, dissecting every line.

One thing is clear: A$AP Rocky knows how to stir conversation, and he’s doing it without ever naming names. As the debate continues online, “Trunks” is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about songs in rap this month — and possibly one of the most subtle lyrical chess moves of the year.
