Whether it’s Slim Shady, Rap God, or one-half of the duo Bad Meets Evil, the Detroit rapper is a living legend in hip-hop culture. But for a younger generation? He might just be… “that guy from Fortnite.” Yes, really.

Later, in 2024, Eminem returned in full force. As part of the Chapter 2 Remix finale, the rapper hosted a digital rap battle version of Fortnite’s infamous Monster vs. Mech showdown.
But the wildest moment came off-screen. Recently, a brave fan referred to Eminem to his face as “the guy from Fortnite.”
The internet, of course, had a field day. Memes, tweets, and TikToks exploded, with users joking about how Eminem has officially entered “Zoomer legend” territory.
