Drake Disses Rick Ross with Jewelry Joke During Bobbi Althoff Interview

The ongoing tension between Drake and Rick Ross just got a fresh spark, and hip-hop fans are buzzing once again.

During his recent sit-down with Bobbi Althoff, Drake slipped in a clever jab at the MMG (Maybach Music Group) boss, reigniting rumors that their falling out is far from over.

The Drake and Bobbi Althoff interview, which marks their much-anticipated reunion, is already making waves across the internet.

The two put past differences behind them and jumped right into current topics, including Drake’s recent rap beefs in 2024.

One clip from the conversation is gaining major traction, especially among fans who’ve been following the Drake vs Rick Ross saga.

While casually sipping rosé during the chat, Althoff commented on Drake’s odd choice of putting ice in the wine. His response, however, was anything but casual.

“You’ve never seen someone ice rosé? Well, talk to every jeweler in Miami that has fake diamonds.”

Drake Shades Rick Ross with Savage Joke in Bobbi Althoff Interview:

Drake’s slick wordplay didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans. The punchline, a double entendre, cleverly plays on Rick Ross' nickname "Rozay," subtly suggesting the Miami rapper is known for sporting fake bling.

It’s a lyrical jab that many didn’t catch live, but it’s since gone viral on hip-hop social media accounts and YouTube reaction videos

This isn’t the first time Drake has taken shots at Ross in recent months. The tension escalated after Ross unfollowed Drake on Instagram earlier this year.

That move came right around the time “We Don’t Trust You” dropped—a project that included Kendrick Lamar’s explosive verse on “Like That.”

Drake answered back with his diss track “Push Ups,” where he fired shots at several rappers, including Ross.

Once close collaborators on multiple hits, their relationship now seems fractured, caught in the crossfire of rap’s most talked-about feuds of the year.

As the battle lines in hip-hop continue to shift in 2024, it’s clear that Drake isn't backing down—and he's not afraid to throw subliminals with a smile.
