Drunk 6ix9ine Admits He Is In “Dark Place,” In An Instagram Live
The highly contested rapper revealed on social media that he was struggling with his mental health and was trying to get back to a place where he could make music again.
“Guys, I want to start this thing off by saying I love my fans,” he said. “I know you guys have been expecting a lot of music. Just right now, genuinely I’m not mentally … I don’t want to give you guys any false hope. I’m there. I’m just trying to get mentally right, just with everything.
I’m pretty drunk right now. I’m doing good, right? I’m just trying to better myself, so I won’t be pretty dark. I find myself in a pretty dark place all the time. Obviously, I love my fans. I’m always here for you guys. Still the king of IG. Still the king of the internet. I don’t use it anymore. I barely be in the studio. I’m just keeping it a stack.”
Whilst 6ix9ine stated that new music was unavoidably on the way, he admitted that he had not lately been in the studio and had gotten tired of social media. On his social media rage, he stated, "I'm still the king of IG." I'm still the internet's king. I just don't utilize it as much as I used to. "I'm barely in the studio," Over 62,000 people watched the stream.
