Wack 100 has decided to continue to disrespect Gunna by collaborating on a new song that he claims is "inspired" by the rapper's recent plea deal ahead of YSL's RICO trial.
Following Gunna's release from prison last month, Wack was among the first to accuse him of snitching on Young Thug and the YSL crew. In the interest of his freedom, the 29-year-old entered an Alford plea, pleading guilty to one racketeering conspiracy charge.
"He told," the controversial music executive said during a December Clubhouse session. "Listen... you're not pleading guilty to a RICO, and they’re freeing you. He did something.”
Wack went through a new single by his artist Yung Magnificent in a studio session televised on his Instagram page on Tuesday (January 17) and stated the hook ("Told the truth on the stand, he ain't lie on time") was inspired by Gunna's recent acts.
“Yo, listen Instagram, I’m in the studio and I hope I don’t sound like a hypocrite but Gunna inspired me,” Wack 100 said. “I was inspired, my artist Yung Magnificent, I told him how inspired I was by Gunna. And I know I’m sounding like a hypocrite because I been going at him. But these bars is what came from my inspiration.”
Even though the backlash has been severe, Gunna stated following his original publication that he did not spy on anyone.
"While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case, and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way," Gunna said last month to WSB-TV.
