Boosie Badazz Slams T.I. For Snitching & Says He Cancelled Their Joint Album ‘YOU A RAT TOO’ - WhatsOnRap

Boosie Badazz Calls T.I. A “Rat” For “Snitching” On Dead Cousin, Cancels Joint Album

Boosie Badazz and T.I. implied at collaborating on a project, and yet a recent interview with the self-proclaimed King Of The South appears to have put those plans off forever.

T.I. revealed on an episode of experdiTIously in 2020 that he caught a gun charge with his cousin, though it was later dismissed.“After he had passed, I had a talk with him. Toot said, ‘I’ll take all the charges you got! If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddamn right!”Tip remembered his cousin telling him about it.

The tale claimed to be an attempt to dismiss charges that he snitched, which had followed him for years. Regrettably, it has had the opposite effect. Several others thought it was odd, if not dishonorable, that he went so far as to lay the claims on his deceased cousin.

That sparked a dispute over whether or not this constituted snitching. Some believed it did, but others, such as Yung Joc, believed it was a loophole in the street code.

When Birdman's brother, Terrence "Gangsta" Williams, admitted to similarly snitching on the deceased, Boosie Badazz had strong feelings. Williams shared his personal experience defending T.I. at the time. Nonetheless, Boosie thought T.I. had crossed a boundary if he did what he claimed.  “If he did that, you’re a fuckin’ rat, too,” he said. “I don’t spare no-mothafuckin’-body… if you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble… that means you’re a rat.”

The rapper claimed that he didn't want to believe T.I. was telling the whole truth about snitching on his deceased relative.

“I think he went up there and got to f*ckin’ talkin’,” Boosie continued. Despite doubting the validity of T.I.’s statements, he said that he will no longer release their joint project. “I’m like why the fuck he say that when we got a fucking album ‘bout to come out?!” he said. “It ruined everything,” he added,
