Drake Ordered to Sit for Deposition in XXXTentacion Murder Trial On February 24th - WhatsOnRap

Drake is being ordered to give a deposition or make an appearance in court later this month for the XXXTentacion murder trial.

Drake is officially required to be present in court or for a deposition in the XXXTentacion murder trial.

According to a court order that Rolling Stone obtained (February 9) from the defense lawyer for one of the three suspects, Dedrick Williams. Based to their supposed dispute prior to XXXTentacion's death, attorney Mauricio Padilla reportedly offered a possible alternate theory tying Drake to XXXTentacion's murder.

According to the magazine, Padilla sought to subpoena Drake last month, noting that Drake was legally served but did not appear for a deposition.

Drake should now appear for a deposition on Friday, February 24, based on the court order. “If deponent Aubrey Drake Graham does not appear to a deposition he must appear before this court on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. EST at so [sic] the court can determine why he should not be held in contempt.”

Padilla highlighted an Instagram picture published from XXXTentacion's Instagram account in February 2018 during opening remarks on Tuesday, February 7.

"If anyone tries to kill me, it was @champagnepapi [Drake's Instagram account]. "I'm snitching right now," XXXTentacion said on Instagram, which he subsequently removed and claimed was posted because he was hacked.

No definitive proof against Drake has been produced in court as of this writing; instead, Padilla has apparently attempted to subpoena numerous other musicians, including Offset, Quavo, and 6ix9ine.
